Anybody know a good way to defeat the cactuar in Final Fantasy X?

Level up a lot, come back to them, and Tidus/Wakka/Lulu are your best bets. The higher up on your grid you are, the easier those lil annoying things get!!

cactuar have 800hp if you can do over 800 points of damage in one hit then your good but they do tend to either attack and run or just run

water spells always kill cactaurs easy in the FF games, but if you don't have water, use ice spells
