I have fair skin and don't like lots of thick makeup and I was wondering what foundations are the best and aren't bad for your face.

If you don't like thick makeup, and your skin doesn'tt require too much coverage (ie isn't too oily or blemishes) then you might be better off with tinted moisturiser. It lifts your skin and gives you a healthy glow, and is a lot more sheer than foundation. It's easy to apply - just rub on like a normal face cream - and people can't tell you're wearing it! You can use a little coverstick concealer for any blemishes.

If you have oily or problematic skin then I would recommend Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse, although you may not like it as it can be quite thick. Definitely select a non-comedogenic (won't block pores) foundation suitable for your skin type.

I wear Bare Minerals. It doesn't clog your pores, you control the coverage and it has an SPF15. It can actually help your skin.
If you're near either a Bare Escentuals boutique or a Sephora store stop in and check it out. They have a starter kit that has all the basics, 2 foundation shades, warmth, mineral veil, 3 brushes, and an instructional DVD. It's $60-$75 depending on where you get it.
Both Sephora and Bare Escentuals have good return policies so if you don't like it you're not out anything.
Good luck!!

"BARE MINERALS"
It is expensive, but not as expensive as MAC.
It is also all natural, has a 15SPF, and I have
been using it for four months. I have only had
one pimplesince. I sleep with it on practically
every nightbecause I work until 2am.

If you are looking for a cheap fix that might cause
a few breakouts and you are fine with that. I used
to use Covergirl. I'd put on a little of the liquid foundation
and massage it into my skin and then use the babyblue
powder case to cover over that. It looks good, but is
not near as close to the airbrushed light feeling and look
of BARE MINERALS!
The link to the site is below!

P.S. When I use bare minerals I use a toner like Oil
of Olay and get every bit of dirt off of my skin and then
I massage Oil of Olay moisturizer into my skin. Then I apply
the makeup. It is good to start using Oil of Olay at a young
age, it prevents wrinkles and has an SPF 15 in the moisturizer.

I love Bare Minerals powder foundation. It comes in some really fair tones, and it's very good for my skin, I have acne and it's the only foundation I've ever used that doesn't make me break out. It's a bit pricey, but definitely worth it.

Bare Escentuals is really good, you can find this makeup at Sephora. The makeup is light, so it doesnt feel like you're wearing anything, AND it is also good for your skin. You can actually go to bed with the makeup on and it wont cause breakouts because the makeup is made from pure minerals. It's good stuff. My roommate uses it and she looks really pretty every day. So yea, if i were you i'd buy Bare Escentuals makeup.

well try to use mineral foundation such as bareminerals, there are different kinds of mineral powder or foundation try to go to sephora site and you will see different product make up, but it still depends on your face if it is too sensitive go to a dermatologist and ask them they will give you options for that.... and always use moisturizer before putting foundation pick the clear and clean moisturizer they are not greasy or sticky. alrighty hope this helps.

Prescriptives! try their Magic liquid Powder. It's almost translucent so you'd never look cakey but the subtle shimmer hides imperfections.
