Yes but it was in the beginning when they were still stiff with your own vaginal secretions and semen they soften a lil bit. My strings tuck away around my uterus so he cant feel them. But my OB suggested snipping them shorter BUT if you do it might be a tad more difficult having it removed

No!!! Don't believe the lies. I've had the Mirena IUD for four years. My husband cannot feel them when we have sex. They can't hurt you in any way. It's exactly like fishing line. I can feel them with my fingers. Usually, they just hang out around the top of my cervix. Not noticeable at all.

I had an IUD, and it sucked! My husband said he could feel it a little bit, but it made me stay on my period the whole time I had it in for 3 months....But hey, everyone is different, it may work for you..My best Friend has one and she LOVES it.

Yes my friend's hubby said he could feel them, said it was weird and put my hubby off when I said I wanted one. Back to popping the daily pill then. Why won't he do something about it? It's always up to us isn't it. If I had my way, he would be for the snip!!! Ha ha revenge!!!!

I heard about some guy who had to have his glans (that's the "firemans' helmet", for the non-medical Y!A fans!) sewn back on after an accident with those strings. Just thought I'd share that one with you...
