Fracture is a broken bone, repaired with pins or hip nailing.

Congenital subluxation of the hip is a condition in which the hip is easily dislocated, and should be treated by an pediatric orthopedic surgeon. Depending on the severity of the subluxation, it may require bracing, or surgery, but that is a decision best left to the doctor trained to treat the problem. Failure to treat it may lead to chronic problems later in life.
