Time comes into existence every time you think about it. It's really an abstract idea, thought up by our physical selves, to explain the linear nature of our experiences. In reality, we are merely observing the psuedo-fragmented nature of the universe due to our lack of knowledge or acceptance of the very nature of what we are. All things are all encompassing, including space and time, and there is no way to separate it from ourselves. However, being humans, we insist on it, praise it, and go to war for it. When did time come into existence? When we forgot about the true naure of the universe and started to doubt the very makeup of ourselves.

I agree with Uncle Bill, You don't see animals like Yogi say Booboo it's 12:00 lunch time, but the animals don't need to tell time they know when it's time to eat, sleep or yes even die without a watch, so yes time is man made.

Time is just a property of this universe- it's like asking when did distance come into existence. While systems of measurement for time are man-made creations, whatever we're attempting to measure has always been there...

Time came into existence the same time space was created. There can not be time without space and there can not be space without time. They go hand and hand. Space-Time (3d) Three dimensions of space and one dimension of time is the fundamental conecpt here.

Time (magazine) started on Mar 3, 1923. Surely that's what you are asking, aren't you? :-)
