it's usually because of the following:

1. poor attitude
2. sub-par teaching ability
3. taking classes that will provide little value to you

it gets worse if you combine any of them!

School is not boring! That you find it boring shows a lack of creativity and imagination. You are given the tools to learn and shown the ways to use those tools and you are sitting there being "bored"???? You should be very thankful to be sitting there in class with all those opportunities handed right to you. There are many people on the face of this earth who can't even go to school. They wouldn't be bored, I assure you. They would have the intelligence to appreciate what they had.

It all depends on both your attitude and how the material is being taught. Just remember, there is a story behind everything in life, and history, social studies and literature expose you to it. The world and everything on it evolve around equations--if you don't learn the basics of math and physics, you'll never be able to find out what those equations are. I'm 43, and there are all types of classes I wish I had taken now that just seemed too boring at the time.

It's boring because they make you go. And they make you study things that don't interest you. But, there is some value in it, you might not see it now, but when you get older you'll see. You'll probably feel bored up to college (if you're not in it yet), even though you're more on your own.

Just stick with it as best you can, because people who drop out of school have lower earning potential. Do extracurricular activities, sports, music, drama, etc. to help distract you from the studying. Good luck.

Well if it's like it was in my day, they are probably shoving things
in your head that you have no interest in and/or you know will
have no use for in the real world. You'll just have to put up with
it until you graduate. If you drop out or don't do college figure on
a job with moderate pay. You may find one you like and will do
the rest of your life. That will conquer the boredom of it.
The world outside can get boring too but if your like me you won't
get bored enough to wish you were back in school. Good luck.

Guess what? School is not designed to be an entertainment center. It is a place to learn. Learning is not easy. You have to interract and not just sit there like a vegetable and expect to be amused. Take responsibility for your own education.
Wait until you find out how boring real life is... especially for someone without a good education.

For me school was boring till 6th standard. After that I started to study myself and suddenly found it interesting. When I started to get good grades, my interest grew........I think it is only till some age that you feel it is boring, You must fix an aim.....and then struggle to achieve this aim or goal. This way it does not become boring. Once you are out of school, you will realize how helpful is all that knowledge that you got in school. We all miss our school days once we are out of it. So now is the time to enjoy your school life.

well the friends and teachers if they have personalities will make the school worth while to come to every day......i should know b/c i love school cuz i knew that my friends would be there and i would always see them. & also if you get into an after school program then it will make it worth while, i know back in hs......i was in an after school program and it was Army JROTC and that was a blast, i would and we would all joke around alot with all our friends. and my friends. but all in all we had fun.

So you might want to try an after school program.....it costs nothing.....and plus its free.

Besides when you get out in the real world nothing is free. so enjoy what you have right now.

It's all in the mind. Do not underestimate the power of your mind. It can really shift things from left to right, top to bottom...and vise versa.
I should say: I really don't know the answer to your question because it is you who's perceiving it to be boring. But remember, you can turn things around.

it's boring because teachers can't make an interesting class and usually because you spend half of the day studying something u mostly won't use and remember the rest of your life
