I remember way back in the late 80's when I was in college and there were still stores that sold waterbeds. There was this store down in Lynnhaven Mall in VA Beach that had this totally over-the-top bed in the front window that was completely insane. And I hate waterbeds. This bed was a gigantic king sized bed made of carved mahogany with thick posts and a really fancy wooden canopy and headboard. The canopy was mirrored on the inside and had two rows of curtain hooks around the edges. This bed was totally Marie Antoinette! It probably weighed a ton. I would have loved it with a regular mattress. This is the type of bed that you just have to have really loud monkey sex on.

Its a long, long time since I slept in a single bed and so glad cause they are too small and narrow, my dream bed is a huge four poster oak bed about 7ft wide by 7ft long, were the base is about 4 foot off the floor with a big thick comfy mattress and a beautiful thick duvet and lovely soft pillows, I would just love a massive bed like that.

My dream bed would be a huge big one with an eiderdown duvet and pillows, so soft that you feel like you are being hugged when you get into it but firm enough for a good nights sleep!
