It leaks when I sit on it or stand up from it. Also, sometimes it leaks if I stomp around it too much. I know that the floor underneath it is ok.

That's the wax ring and it's really easy. just take as much water as you can out by turning off the supply and flushing till it doesn't go any lower. Next, remove the two bolts or nuts on either side of the toilet holding it down. if your supply line is short, remove it at this time. Lift straight up on the toilet and move it to the side or forward, out of your way. clean the flange on the floor of wax and debris and install the new wax ring in the flange. (the right way is to invert the toilet and install the ring on the toilet, I think.) I've done it many times and never had a leak. When you sit the toilet back in place on the new wax ring, it will be a little high. Press down with a slight back and forth twisting motion till it's seated

Turn off the water to the tank with the shut off on the supply line. Emty the tank by first flushing it and if you have a wet/dry vac suck all remaining water out of bowel and tank. Then, remove nuts on both sides of the toilet base and remove supply line from the top of the shut off valve. Straddle toilet and pull straight up.Make sure you have place to put it down where it wont fall over and /or get floor scuffed. Suggest putting old towel under it and lean back of toilet against the wall. Remove old wax ring (thats the soft mushy ring most likely stuck to the floor but could be stuck to the bottom of the toilet. ) Buy a new wax ring suggest double thick wax ring and place it on the flange on the floor where you took the old one off. Then cener the hole on the toilet with the one on the floor. Use the bolts on the floor to line up the toilet. Pess firmly down and put nuts and washer back in place and tighten only till they are snug (not too tight or they might break the toilet.) reconect the supply line and turn the water back on.

Are you talking about water getting on the floor when you do these things? If so, you need to reset your commode on a new wax ring and seal the edge around the toilet.
If you are talking about water leaking from the tank into the bowl when you do these things, you need to adjust your float level.

the seal between the closet flange( the one on the floor under the toilet) is bad or the toilet is loose on the floor mount. Either way replace the seal
