You'll need to have a water line installed they have a DIY type that you can get or the people that you bought your fridge from can hook one up for you.Basically you run a 1/4 copper tube to say the line ine you basement (if you have a basement) that supplies the washer. And they tap into that then that's where the water supply to fridge that goes to the ice maker and viola ice

Yes you will need a new water line installed, that is how the water
feeds into the freezer to produce ice...The refrigerator has the mechanics to draw the water and release the cubes built in, so no need to worry about that Wherever you are buying the refrigerator from should be able to recommend a competent installer.

I would suggest patenting your idea about using condensate for ice, but health codes forbid human consumption of condensate.
You will need a water line, but its a tiny flexible piece of copper, nothing like the feed for a fawcet.

Wow. YES, you will need a water line. There is no magic involved. You need to call a plumber before they deliver the refrigerator.

they have a little tap valve they bore into the nearest water line and then run a line of tubing over to the fridge, many people have trouble with these things leaking, you may want a plumber to put in a tee and do the job right.

You will need to have a water line installed. It is a very simple task. It should come with an extra line. You just punch in to an exisitng water line (make sure it is cold) and hook it up.

A saddle vavle is person-friendly and ought to crack the pipe yet what in many cases occurs is the plastic shards get stuck contained sooner or later of the peicing needle and then you get gradual to no water bypass. You maximum acceptable guess is to drill a tiny hollow for the saddle valve needle and then installation the saddle valve. except that you ought to get it connected to a copper pipe. solid success

If the fridge has a ice maker, you will need a waterline. Thereshould already be one in your house, just connect the fridge to it.

in an existing home there is probably already a water line that you've overlooked, if not yes you will need to have one installed. Not a stupid question by the way...just not common knowledge if you've never dealt with it. Smiles!
