I was in the middle of a pretend war like situation at the last military installation I was stationed at. Then I saw the new and we went from fake to real life. The entire base was on lock down. Everyone was totally shocked.

I was at work when the radio first came on and said that a plane had hit one of the towers. At that moment I felt in my heart that was some kind of attack cause how many planes have we had that flew into a building? I have never heard such a thing. when the second one hit, I knew for sure it was indeed a terror attack. Those poor people in the buildings and on the planes, I can't imagine what they went through.

I was thousands of miles away (in Thailand) but "thanks" to CNN I heard the dreadful news right away - was simply paralized! Even years after I can hardly believe it... Still now-a-days ALL my sincere condolances go out to all the victims families. May they rest in peace...PS: sorry, since english it's not my mother-tongue I just truly hope that I didn't offend anyone.
