I had one last year. My OB said I needed to wait at least 6 months before ttc. You should ask the OB that performed the c-section because it may depend on the way you were cut, horizontally or vertically. Even if you have a horizontal scar on the outside, your uterus could have been cut vertically. It's important for you to know how your uterus was cut before you can plan a vbac, so it may also be a concern in carrying another pregnancy.

My doctor told me a year after I had my daughter via c-section. But, I am also two months pregnant now (daughter is 11 months) and she says I will be fine. So, if planning, I would shoot for a year, but if accidental, talk to doctor about it and see what they say for you. Good Luck either way!
