isnt that a neat little piece of american history, would you be able to do it yourself if it had come down to it?
im also in the military, hit my 2 year mark on the 31st, COAST GUARD!

yes i know it... I REALLY DO!!!
three things are... a razor blade, a match and a bullet...
When the base is overran... you are supposed to get ahold of these three things from the ball on top of flag pole and cut up the flag, burn the peices and then shoot yourself

To stop the flag from being raised right off the top of the pole? Or maybe for birds to sit and poop on?

inside the ball? no idea...it usually has an eagle on top of the ball. that's all i know. i'm curious, though.
