I think the it's the job of the President's cabinet to look after America (while keeping him well informed). Many people forget that POTUS (President of the United States) is also the leader of the free world, and responsible for the spread and nurturing of democracy around the globe. Of course he should make sure that his cabinet is doing it's job of keeping America #1 on the global scene, but he should also make sure not to make us look like jackasses around the globe.

The President's main job is to protect the American people and defend our way of life. He has done that to the best of his ability, but it's not that easy is it?
""Men of energy of character must have enemies; because there are two sides to every question, and taking one with decision, and acting on it with effect, those who take the other will of course be hostile in proportion as they feel that effect." - Thomas Jefferson to John Adams, 1817.
No matter what any President does, half the peopleare likely to disagree with him. The norm now is to call the President a murderer, nazi, fascist, etc. when you disagree with him. That's rational thinking, right?

The primary purpose of the current and recent American Presidents is to represent the interests of globalist corporations in building a global economic system. There is absolutely no question, if you've conducted your research thoroughly when determining who to vote for.

Steal back the millions of dollars spent getting elected to the position. Nobody spends millions to get a job that pays $250 Thousand, without planning a way of stealing it back! Other than that, his job is to be the Figure Head of the nation, make the hard decisions, and he has to live with their long term consequences. Remember the perks aren't so bad either, the White House, Air Force One, Camp David, the Limos and all the security.

Using Bush as the example, I guess the job consists of manipulating the economy to benefit the wealthy through tax manipulation and protecting the financial interests of the rich by waging war using under-classes as fodder.
