the emotes that people put in the roo like @};-welcome back jack >:d< where do i get those

If you are talking about yahoo messenger then it will be somewhere in the yahoo messenger folder which is located :

c;\program files\yahoo!\messenger

On my computer they are here :

C:\Program Files\Yahoo!\Messenger\Media\Smileys
