How about reporting his abuse to the police; have an attorney present his abuse and abandonment to a judge; obtain a restraining order...

and then let him answer your same question to the authorities if he violates the order.

Either he is trying to come back to you (without explanation or apologies), or he is jealous and trying to check up on you.

Doesn't matter - he has a problem and he needs help.
- that he hit you = anger problems, using violence to solve problems. You have a valid reason to get a restraining order. You should see a lawyer, esp if the assault was serious.
- that he left with no reason = communication, control and self-esteem problems.
- spying on you at work = jealousy and/or wanting to control you

Only you can decide if you want him in your life --- and you should set some very strong limits if you do. He needs help (therapy?) and he needs to explain his actions and tell you how he is going to deal with them and make changes.

That he hit you is a red flag. I do not know if you can save this relationship - it takes a very forgiving person, and it takes him to admit he was wrong and to do everything in his power to never do it again. He needs a 3rd party to help him see what he did was wrong. That hurdle is very high.

You should take steps to protect yourself, and your children. You should have your own checking account he can't access. And you may want to protect at least 1/2 of your family's financial assets. Talk with a counseler and a lawyer.

It sounds like he has some issues he is dealing with. My guess is that he is, in fact, spying on you out of his own insecurity. He is trying to check up on you. However, if he hit you then you need to seriously consider if you really want to expose yourself to that kind of treatment. But I bet you already know that. there are too many causes of violence for me to tell you what he is thinking without more details. hope it helps and good luck.

Tell your employer and make sure the security staff (if there is one where you work) knows so that they can contact the police if he shows up at your work. Also you might want to file a restraining order against him.

If you filed a police report when he hit you then you can go back to the police and get a restraining order because he is stalking you and harrasing you in your place of work.

first tell security to not let him in under no circumstance if he left you and hit you he need not to come around you and unannounced isn't cool at all he is up to something so watch out maybe he does want to see if you have someone at the office he could be a scorn lover as well and wants revenge so please be careful you have to worry and think about your co workers as well

Get a restraining order from the police which will keep him away from you. Obviously, you do not want to go back to a coward who would beat his wife and leave her.

Chow!!

Wow, he needs help.. because I don't understand why he would do that... and get R.O. from court and make sure he leaves you alone from work and home and everywhere you go. to protect yourself. and I am worried that if he see you with one man.. you talk to nothing more just talking about work and he might do some serious damage in your life and people around you.

Pls. take care of R.O. asap..

Be very careful. This man has hit you, left you and now he is coming to your office...he is up to no good. I would get a restraining order against him.
