we've been together for 9 years and have two children. He's unfaithful, violent, and short tempered. I don't want to get back together but he does. I told him how I feel and he insist that since we have a family we shouldn't be apart. I don't agree with him and don't know why I feel guilty. Is this right or is he right?????

You are right. Don't give in to his plees. I did this with my ex over and over and over. Let me tell you... nothing ever changed. Stay true to your feelings.

OHMY. this distinctly a lot precisely handed off to me. i became relationship a guy for about a month or so, and that i had all started going out with him when I had a touch, distinctly a lot one-day fling with yet another guy I knew. That guy (enable's call him John, haha) and that i have been going on a visit with some individuals, so I broke up with my boyfriend ("Joe") properly before the vacation. I connected with "John" over the vacation, and went out with him for a lengthy time period; we broke up about 3 weeks later. yet frankly, both "Joe" and that i wanted one yet another again. We had to communicate a lot and workout some believe topics, yet we've worked it out, almost continuously. playstation - my boyfriend went INSANE when I instructed him about the different guy. Even now, he receives mad when I factor out "John". yet there have been a lot of different topics going on on the time; so there have been about 3 months at the same time as i had to die from each and each and every of the pressure. i imagine it will be maximum acceptable to purely get all of it out. If he loves you, he will attempt to forgive you. If no longer, then you really 2 are in basic terms likely no longer meant to be. solid success! (:

Don't feel guilty. He has issues he needs to work on to be in any relationship. Stick to your guns and don't let him have his way with this.

My God. No one should have to help you with this one. You do not in any way deserve the kind of treatment he apparently feels is ok! No one does!

From your description of him you are well out of it as are your children.

Find someone who respects and loves you.

Move on!

No love you certainly should not.

He only wants you back because he wants his cake and eats it too!!!.

Go with your own feelings, if you don't want him back then you certainly don't love it. You owe it to yourself and the kids to get rid of him and maybe in time find someone whom you and your kids deserve.
