Its not one of the popular Bon Jovi songs, its just a guitar in the background with no lyrics or anything. I's appreciate it very much if anyone could send me the name/title and the artist.

Jon Bon Jovi did the songs for Young Guns II, he had no involvement in Young Guns. If it's music from Young Guns the composer was Anthony Marinelli who has written stuff for loads of movies. There was never a Young Guns soundtrack released.
If it is definately a Jon Bon Jovi song then it would be on Young Guns II. There was only one song from the movie that wasn't Jon Bon Jovi, "Guano City" was written by Alan Silvestri and was an instumental so that may be the one you're after. If you go here:

It's still Jon Bon Jovi and I think it's called Jesse's theme or the Young Guns theme.
