I am supposed to start my "placebo" pill on Sunday (obviously that's when I start bleeding). I began cramping on the Tuesday before and began bleeding the next day.

I ALWAYS take my pill at the same time everyday. I have never missed a pill. I have been on birth control pills for about 9 years now.

Any ideas on what is going on? Anyone else have this happen?

Thank you for your ideas.

Sometimes your body just needs to do it's own thing. There was a time when I skipped my reminder pills 2 months in a row(I had done it for 1 month before with no issues) and my period came almost 2 weeks early. I called the doctor and she just said sometimes your body knows what it needs to do, inspite of the pills.

Yeah, that happened to me all the time when I was on birth control. Sometimes the dose isn't strong enough, or your body is just continuing with what it thinks is best. Next time that happens, I would just call your doctor or clinic and ask. One time may mean nothing, but multiple times might indicate a wrong dosage.
