I heard that on TV last night but it's hard to believe. I think they have played games at home before when they were rated number 1, particularly during the 1960s.

I heard that on TV last night but it's hard to believe. I think they said Saturday will be the first time that a team ranked number 1 will play in Austin - that team is Ohio State, of course. I think they have played games at home before when they were rated number 1, particularly during the 1960s.

For jughead:

Ohio State didn't look very good last week against Northern Illinois. NIU outscored them 9-7 in the second half. Ohio State better bring some more game to Austin or they will done in the first half.

I can't answer your question but if it was on TV I'm guessing it's correct. But on more important matters:

Texas by 2 touchdowns.

They couldn't handle Texas last year in Columbus, they don't even sniff them in Austin.
Colt McCoy proved last week that he can hang on to the football well enough to allow the running game and the defense to win games.
Ohio State proved last week that their defense can't stop the running game, even against Northern Illinois.
It's still summertime in Austin. Jamaal Charles runs all over the Buckeye defense and Troy Smith melts in the heat.

I-35 North should be pretty empty at halftime so the Buckeye fans shouldn't hit much traffic getting an early start out of my state.

Don't know on that. The only thing I see is going to happen is that Ohio State is going to leave Texas as winners.
Ohio State 35... Texas 14

Could be, they won No.1 in two national championship games at the end of the year, so it could be. They RULE in any case!!! I watched Vince Young's fianl home game there last year and still cannot seriously believe the Titans are considering playing ANYONE over him at QB. They must be on crack!
