I started taking metformin a month ago and now my cycle is way off. I was actually in a normal rhythm (first time in a long time) with my period before I started taking it. But my OBGYN had me take it to help me ovulate. Has anyone had this happen ? Does it take a couple months for your body to get used to it?

Yes. Normally I would have period every 31 days. As soon as I started taking metroformin my period changed to 25 days. I asked my doctor and he said it's possible that's metroformin.
