Uristat and AZO contain PHENAZOPYRIDINE...this drug helps treat the symptoms of a UTI but not the infection itself. That's why antibiotics must also be used. But they are safe to take with antibiotics...in fact, many doctors prescribe prescription-strength PHENAZOPYRIDINE to go along with an antibiotic.

Dr. Tom Hale is between the foremost physicians knowledgeable approximately breastfeeding and medicines. My advice is which you peruse his internet site as a visitor to be certain what it says and save this link for the destiny. at the same time as you won't have the ability to ask questions, you could view solutions already given. My own advice, besides the fact that, is as a substitute of taking a laxative, consume some watermelon (some million a million/2 cups could do it), 2 cups of orange juice, or an entire mango. Drink a lot of water. till you have a scientific concern, or are taking medicine, having adequate fluid and fruit will save you going.

I would always check with the pharmacist if any OTC medication will interact with any other medication.

In the UK they always ask if you're on any other kind of meds before they sell it to you.

I hope you feel better soon.

Snake oil. They're probably safe to take with antibiotics, but they really don't do anything except put 5$ into the companies pocket. They never helped any of my bladder or kidney infections.
