Make yourself some licorice or chamomile tea and drink it 2 - 3 times daily. Also, coral calcium is a very effective treatment for acid reflux. Apple cider vinegar is also recommended by some.

You may want to take a look on-line to find a low-acid eating plan. There are certain foods that increase the acid in your body. I have been following a low acid eating plan for about two months and it has helped immensely. Good alkaline producing foods are asparagus, beets, spinach, swiss chard, blueberries, melons. I have swapped yams for potatoes at most meals and have stopped drinking coffee. Good luck.

I do use a probiotic as well so that is a great suggestion.
