The bars and clubs here are either meat markets or older people having sociables.
All of them though are loud, smelly and smokey.
I prefer a pub style dinner and drink setting to a bump and grind deafening/blinding scene.. but i go where the ppl go alot of the times .. im usually the designated driver so it doesnt matter to me all that much, I just sit and wait .. chat with a few of the less drunker ppl...

The bar would have to be clean, spacious, romantic friendly not pushy staff, good drink selection, no bums or drunks, very suttle music and all freshly cooked foods to cater for all tastes and wallets. the toilets Have to be spotless, the beers cold and the wine good, decor and maintenance of bar has to be as near perfect as possible, not too quiet and seats where you get privacy but without isolation. and my partner would have to be with me as well. as for clubs it usually is the opposite as wer'e so pissed by then that we spew everywhere and cause loads of fights, usually then piss ourselves and get thrown out onto pavement where we harrass the staff of the local kebab house and get free food. (two gemini's!!)

Noisy and rowdy. Smokey and full of people dressed scantily and looking tacky. Electrical currents going in every direction. Aching bare feet with red stilletoes next to them. Not particulary alluring place.

I would expect respectable people, behaving people, nice decor, nice tables and chairs and television screens showing music ideos and nice lightning.
