Back in the 80's a metal song was released (as a single only) featuring some of the best metal bands of that age-this song also features what I beleive to be the longest guitar solo in history-can anyone name the song? I will give you a hint-think "We Are The World"

"Hear 'N Aid" founded by Ronnie James Dio

Hear 'N Aid

In the same spirit as USA for Africa and Band Aid, the Hear 'n Aid project was a large musical collaboration of the mid 1980s formed to raise money against famine in Africa. On May 20-21, 1985, in A&M Records Studios, around 40 heavy metal musicians came together to record the song 'Stars'. By mid 1987, the project had raised $1 million. ''Hear 'n Aid'' was organized by Ronnie James Dio, and included members of Dio, Quiet Riot, Iron Maiden, Mötley Crüe, Twisted Sister, Queensrÿche, Blue Öyster Cult, Dokken, Night Ranger, Judas Priest, W.A.S.P., Journey, Y&T, Vanilla Fudge, and even parody band Spinal Tap. "November Rain" does hold the record for the longest guitar solo (counting Slash's two solos) by the band Guns N' Roses, written by Axl Rose. There is also a great solo by the guitarist from Deep Purple,of their heavy Metal album, which start the song off with a serious solo, the song is "Lazy."

Alex, i might choose for to make it a genuine each and every day double. Hack Wilson's checklist placing RBI entire is the applicable answer. It replaced into suggested as a hundred ninety for an prolonged time, then while Elias went lower back by way of that years' transcripts, they stumbled on an added RBI, giving him 191 for the 1930 season.

"We Are The World", U.S.A. for Africa

There comes a time when we need a certain call
When the world must come together as one
There are people dying
Oh, and it's time to lend a hand to life
The greatest gift of all

We can't go on pretending day by day
That someone, somehow will soon make a change
We're all a part of God's great big family
And the truth - you know love is all we need

( CHORUS )
We are the world, we are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
so let's start giving
There's a choice we're making
We're saving our own lives
It's true we'll make a better day
Just you and me

Well, send'em you your heart
So they know that someone cares
And their lives will be stronger and free
As God has shown us
By turning stone to bread
And so we all must lend a helping hand

( REPEAT CHORUS )

When you're down and out
There seems no hope at all
But if you just believe
There's no way we can fall
Well, well, well, let's realize
That one change can only come
When we stand together as one

( REPEAT CHORUS AND FADE )

To this day I just love to hear "We Are The World" - the melody is so simple but beautifully arranged and produced by Daddy Q. Okay, so it woud not hit the top 40 in the 90's, but re-produce it and replace the singers with those like Puff Daddy, R. Kelly, Mariah Carey, Madonna, etc, and chances are it's going all the way to the top! Here's a list of the singers next to their lyric from the 1985 version. . .
