The wires to the actual horn under the bonnet could either be corroded, broken or the best scenario is the the connector has fallen free from one of the terminals.Look for a round flat object about 1-2 inches thick, not on the engine, it will be near the front grill as a rule. Check the connectors and the wires. If that's not the case then the connector behind the steering wheel has probably fallen off and not allowing it to eath properly. It means taking the centre piece out of the wheel and checking it.

Hope this helps.

could be a simple fix .... is anything else not funtioning properly that you are aware of ?? could be a loose wire to the horn itself , have you checked under the hood ?? look at the horn mechanisim and see if the little wire didnt come off , I know in certian years the do work lose over time , or if any work as recently been done then its possibilly not hooked back up ......there are a couple fuses that can make it not work ....... you say the horn fuse seems ok , it could be an accessory fuse as well , also did you change the horn fuse even though it looks ok it could be bad ....... other wise take it to the dealer they will know exatally why ,and can fix it without any charge in most cases ........

Apply a voltage directly to the horn. If it works the horn is ok and the problem is either with the wiring or the switch (Horn button) If you have to, you can scrape a little bit of insullation from the wires leading to the horn and apply the battery voltage directly. You can put some liquid tape or black electrical tape where you scraped away the insulation. If the horn is functional, you can wire in a separate button. Also you should have some type of service manual, (available at auto parts stores), if you want to work on your own car.

With Fords check to make sure that you are getting voltage at the horn if not check at the horn relay. Also if the vehicle has alarm check it to cause the horn is used with it. If your Vehicle has a tilt wheel move the wheel up - down while depressing the horn button see if it comes on. If the horn is burned out check the way it is mounted make sure that water hits it it is mounted so it will drain.

Hon horns never go bad. Horns use lots of amps so therefore you need a relay to handle current. Most likely you have a bad horn relay or a bad switch. Anyway because you a female what you need a horn for. I only use mine in over a million miles of driving to honk at a pretty girl. Cant think of any other reason that I would need a horn for.

I had the same problem on my pickup truck a few months ago. If the fuse is still good check the horn relay. If that's still good too, you need a new horn. If the horn is still good the button on the stering wheel may have broke.

You would want to replace the thermostat and put in antifreeze in it. Dont want to use water because the motor is like a stove it will make the water boil and antifreeze has special chemicals in it to keep the motor from over heating. I have a 1993 ford explorer XLT and mine wouldn't heat up so the machinic put in a thermostat now it works fine. The thermostat is cheap less than fifteen dollars and it takes an hour of labor so it should cost that much to have them replace the thermostat. Good luck

it is could be a broken wire, the switch in your steering wheel is bad, or you horn is bad. My bet is on the horn.
