Typically around age 30.
BUT, if you're noticing changes, i.e.; tiredness, feel like you've lost your "OOMPH", you should have your THYROID CHECKED!!!!! Are you noticing any dry skin, change in appetite or hair loss? These could all be signs of a thyroid problem. If it continues, i would check with your doctor. It's a simple test. And you're much too young to be having your metabolism slow down to where it's that noticable.

I think this is party down to do with your genes.
Mine started to slow down at 23. I used to be able to eat whatever I wanted, but after 23 slowly the weight started to creep on and in a year I went up 2 dress sizes! Eeek! Thankfully I'm back down to my original dress size and am much fitter now, I know my limitations in terms of just eating deserts all the time!! But I'm much happier, mainly becasue my diet's much better!
Wishing you luck.
