Personally I have more important things in my life than to worry about Paris Hilton. As far as her getting a DUI .. many people get caught drunk and are ticketed with DUI driving. So it is not a rare or unexpected occurance. It happened to Mel Gibson just a few weeks ago. The only thing that bothers me, is that she will "get off the hook" .. and will not suffer the consequences that the "average American" would be put through. That's the way it is with Hollywood types with big names and lots of money. They get off easy. You or I would have to go through a lot of legal hoops to get off .. but because of her Daddy's namesake, and the fact that she can hire the best lawyers.. not much , if anything will happen to her. Plus, even if her license were to be taken away for a while .. what does she care ? She can Limo or Taxi or Fly anywhere she wants to .. any day , any time. Money may not bring you happiness, but it does help you to buy your way out of bad situations. AND .. with a lot of money in your life, .. you have a lot more OPTIONS of what you can and can not do.

I think she got what she deserved. Anyone that gets in a car and drives after drinking should know that it is wrong and can lead to a dui or worse. She could have easily called a limo or a taxi if she knows what one is to drive her home safely. She can surely afford someone to drive her around after drinking. No excuse for it.

I think she is an idiot, why drink and drive. But with all her money and fame I think she will get off with just a slap on the wrist. I wish someone would make an example of her. What a loser.

Where is that girl's mother? I wish I was her mother for just a while. That little brat. This is the first thing she's done that really makes me mad. I know she knows better. Obviously, if she was pulled over, she wasn't driving ALERTLY. Oh....I'd take that car, even if she is too old to be bossed around.

I am surprised that this hasn't happened already. Also why is this such big news? She is always out at the clubs.... this is kind of a no brainer.

I like her. She has a nice fashion sense and I thought she was a good roll model for young girls. But after this I don't know what to think.What she did was very wrong and she should pay the price for it.

I think anyone who drinks and drives should be punished for it. The sad part of it is, people still continue to do it, and people continue to die because there are those who think it is no big deal to drive drunk.
