No event important enough to be recorded in available astronomical literature occurred in 1961. However, in 1962, there was a Great Conjunction, or alignment of all the visible planets plus the Sun and Moon, along with a solar eclipse. Now that was unusual! Some sources mistakenly suggest that such a planetary alignment occurs only about every 4,000 to 6,000 years, which is not true.
Turning 1961 upside down will show the same number, in 4,000 years, it would be the year 5961??? Which upside down is 196(upside down 5)??

Did some thing ensue astronomically in 1961 that in basic terms isn't repeated for 4,000 years? No adventure significant sufficient to be recorded in obtainable astronomical literature handed off in 1961. although, in 1962, there became an really good Conjunction, or alignment of each and every of the seen planets plus the daylight and Moon, alongside with a image voltaic eclipse. Now that became unusual! some sources mistakenly advise that any such planetary alignment occurs purely about each and every 4,000 to 6,000 years, which isn't real.

Was this the time where several days were removed from the calander because the calander we use today was out by a few days?
Perhaps it'll need correcting again in 4000 years?
