How often have you cried over him? I just keep crying and crying...It's so sad even though i didnt know the guy. Something about it just gets me so upset. I think partly because I always thought he'd never go (strange but I did). I thought 'oh he'll live til he's about 80' but I was wrong. He was such an amazing person. He's survived deadly snake bites before and handled many crocs like newborn babies so it comes as such a big shock even now when this is old news. I cannot believe The Steve is dead.

I am really sad. I didn't know Steve personally but he helped a lot of people to be closer to the animals he loved. He was a true Wildlife Warrior and educator and he will never be forgotten. He loved his family and the animals and he could make the viewers feel his enthusiasm for wildlife over the TV.

It will be the little things that you will remember, the quiet moments, the smiles, the laughter. And although it may seem hard right now, it will be the memories of these little things that help to push away the pain and bring the smiles back again. Your loved one will always be close as a memory and in your heart.

I haven't cried, but besides a realative I can't think of anyone else on earth that I was more shocked and saddened to see pass away. The Pope doesn't even come close to the Croc hunter! Wierd...

I have not full out cried, but I have been teary eyed and achey hearted every time I see something on the Televison or read something on the net about him and his death. He was a role model and hero to alot of people and its just a natural human reaction.

i will never forget the image of steve irwin talking to the camera while sharks were in a feeding frenzy all around him while he stood in the water...the guy was a crazy kook but he was fascinating, funny and very entertaining...i kind of felt one day his luck would run out the way he took risks dealing with wildlife but i would never have guessed it would take a stingray to be the culprit....my condolences to his friends and family....he was one of a kind and his legacy will continue as his shows run on animal planet

When I checked the news that morning I couldn't believe my eyes either. I even thought that the news people were playing a joke on everyone.

Get over it, he's dead. I believe he ascended into heaven just as he died and he'd be wrought with sorrow at seeing you this sad. He'd want you to move on with your life but be more cautious in doing so.

You really need to get a grip. You did not know this man personally and his death does not change YOUR life one iota. Everyone dies, even YOU! Irwin's death has been way overblown, though of course it is a shame that he had to die in the manner he did. Peace to his family, and now, it's time to move on from this subject.
