Ok I guess he can’t become president, but he should come here anyways. We like him here in the US and we’d be glad to take him in. He could replace Simon on American Idol. Or if the law allows run for mayor of a major city.

Hi Tom, are you kidding? I would rather have Bill Clinton back rather than Tony. I know they both are handsome and they both have a UK connection! Let us leave Tony Blair alone and let him have a relaxing time in the House of Lords after he steps down as Premier of Britain! If he steps down in May next year, it will be a blow to President Bush as he has to complete his term without Tom Boy Blair!
Cheers and Keep Smiling!

He's not native-born American, therefore unquilified to run under the Constitution.

And Cherie is making too much money; she couldn't make that kind of $$ as a US lawyer. I was in the High Court in London yesterday to hear her argue a case. She'd already won on the merits; now she was arguing over her fees to be paid by the losing party.

You can run for office after living here for so long... however I am not totally sure on this but I do think you have to be a native born citizen to become president. I could be wrong on that....

Why come to the US, his life is in Great Britain. As for running for President, there's a thing called the US Constitution that requires the President be native born, not just a citizen. Once he began running for office, assuming no Constiutional hurdle, the right wingers would be up in arms, he's not a conservative, but moderate-to- liberal in domestic and social policy.
