If anyone is tired enough to start writing backwards, I guess it's time for them to quit and go to bed. However, the human eye is trained to read words with letters missing or inverted, vowels or consonants missing, and in the case of your example, a word totally reversed. Thank goodness for this, or the questions on this site would never be answered. I have seen examples on here of the most illiterate and illegible writing imaginable, and still could decipher it --- barely!

As far as writing backwards, that takes more skill than a person would have if he or she were tired, unless said individual was dyslectic. In that event most all words appear backwards to that person. For example, the word, "was", appears as "saw". Yes, in some cases BACKWARD can be a DRAWBACK!!

No it would take effort to write backwards..

I've often gotten so tired that I start leaving out letters...even entire words..

Last night I got so tired I turned off my pc and went to bed..

Infact it happens quite often..

Maybe I should go see a doctor..

I think I need some sleep...

Funny you should mention that. I went for an eyesight test the other day and half-way through, I realised I'd been reading the chart from right to left. Do you think we share a "wrong-way" gene?

A lot of people write backwards, but not out of tiredness. I believe Leonardo da Vinci wrote backwards so that he could write secret notes to himself.

I used to write backwards notes to my friends when I was a kid- much like DiVinci... I was pretty good at it. but it takes thought to do- I can't do it when I'm tired!
