Talk to your mother and see if you can get any other info. Maybe a birthday, or a relative name or something. Then just go to a people search engine and start looking. Sometimes they charge you for info so be careful.
Be careful if you do find him and be prepared for what might happen. If he never wanted to meet you that might not have changed and you might be looking at more pain meeting him then by just letting it go....be careful

Put his name in Yahoo search or Google..Quite a few come up
