it seems as though all the rhetoric about white water and other sexual liasons were nothing but a smear campaign

Clinton was an outsider. Not from inside the beltway -- but from Arkansas -- of all places. And, he was a Democrat! Lots of politicians are unfaithful -- power is an aphrodisiac. If forty million dollars had been spent investigating just about any powerful and healthy man in Washington, something could have been found. With Clinton, a man known for his appetites, it was easier. His consensual sex is not my business. The Republicans changed the public demeanor and diminished civility in bringing charges of a personal nature to the public arena. In private, many do as Clinton but I don't care to hear the details.

He had signed a law that protected women against sexual harassment and later lied under oath to keep a sexual harassment case going to court in the case of Paula Jones v Clinton.

he was impeached for lying to the grand jury. in this case. Also, as with Jimmy Carter he did absolutely nothing to stop OBL even when given the chance.

I could give a rip about whether Clinton got a knob job and when he was groping Paula Jones he should have said "hell yea, I did her and those other bimbos, and that law I signed, doesn't apply to me"..

There were questions about his conduct. Questions that were far more serious that things like who leaked Valerie Plame's name to the press.

Did you know that the surest way for a convicted criminal serving a long prison term to get a presidential pardon was to donate to Hillary Clinton's Senate campaign? Don't you remember how those Puerto Rican terrorists got out?

We could care less what Clinton did in the bedroom with that fat intern, If I was married to Hillary I'd do the same thing. We had a problem with him lying under oath!

Because he lied under oath. Stupid, but true.

The GOP is the best at the smear campaign.

I would have to agree. Clinton's sexcapades are an issue that is private and should have been dealt with among his family.

They should've crucified him for letting Osama bin Laden roam around making plans.....

Because they either don't realize there's a difference between unfaithful sex and 2600 dead Americans, an illegal wiretapping program and the least amount of fiscal responsibility this country has ever seen.

They're lemmings not capable of independent thought.

Because the Republicans weren't getting any themselves. What they failed to reveal was that Monica was a Republican. And the GOP doesn't like the idea of a Republican on their knees.

Penis Clinton raped Juanita Broderick and other women (in fact he was "asked to leave" the Oxford University and other ones for raping students) and forced himself upon other women. How dare this Nazi tell lies about Serbian soldiers "raping others"??!!!
