The business model Alticor and Amway China use in China is unique to the Chinese market. Because of Chinese government regulations, Amway China is legally required to manufacture in China all the products it distributes in China.

So any products distributed in China must be made in China and they expect us to just import their stuff so they end up as the next world power? I say NOOOOO!

Have to see how this plays out. People were saying the same thing about Japan in the 1980s. That bubble burst.

You have to go in halfs with the chinese, or they wont let you play.

The U.S. has much of the same policy. That's the only reason why most of the so called Japanese cars in the U.S. are actually assembled in the U.S.
