The guy above me got the right player, but his name was Vander Meer, and he threw the no-hitters for the Reds, not the Indians.
They occured in June of 1938, against the Boston Braves and Brooklyn Dodgers.
Edit - I said "Bees," but it was obviously the Braves. Sorry for the dumb error.

The "Bees" did not exsist in the Major Leagues in 1938... so, the reference page the "bee guy" went to was WRONG.
