Mostly because, the people you see while driving you will never see again. So their opinion of you does not matter. Though I really think that the nose-picking thing should never be done EVER. But if you must, never do it in public.

Because when they are in their car it's like they're in your own little world. They don't think anyone is paying attention to them because they are driving. After they check and make sure the cost is clear, the insert the finger into the nose just as you are passing by and happen to look in. EEWWWWW! lol

Because when they drive they think they become invisible. Though I have seen guys doing things in cars that they wanted people to see them doing if you get what I'm trying to say and that one I never understood either.

People are in their own personal space and probably feel a little anomous in their cars. I have noticed this as well when we used to live in a house along a highway.

hey, it's a 45-minute drive..... and I just gotta get that bra off!
