Ignore your uncle and ride your bike. Whatever works for you to stay physically active is the right way to do it. You'll burn more calories walking or running the same distance as riding your bike, but you'll get plenty of excercise riding a few miles each day.
Resist the impulse to kill your uncle - no good will come of it in the long run.

Jogging is more exercise than easy bicycle riding, but not more than mountain biking or trick biking. Your uncle sounds like an idiot. Most adults would be happy to see a kid out getting exercise, rather than sitting in front of a television eating a Big Mac. You certainly couldn't define bike riding as lazy. Unless, that is, it's a motor bike. Please tell me it's not.

Jogging is more exercise if you want to lose weight or just get in better shape. It will work more muscles than riding a bike will although biking will work your legs and butt much more. Biking will obviously help get you in better shape and lose weight just not as much as running will. Running is the best cardio workout you can do, but still...keep on biking if thats what you want to do.

Riding bike is good exercise but jogging is harder thank bike riding unless you're on trails or travelling at high speeds and up hills. But jogging is harder on your body and worse for your knees. You can try mixing you your rides with occassional jogs. If you haven't jog much before, you will immediately notice how much harder it is to jog for the same amount of time as you spend on your bike. :o)

First I would take some time away from the bike and take some Grammar and spelling classes.
But I personally think any form of exercise is good for you. If you enjoy cycling more than running then that is what I would do.
It's easier to exercise if you enjoy it.

No not necessarily. It depends on how long you ride your bike compared with the time you jog. So no, you're not lazy.

riding your bike is more exercise... when you're riding it is easier to pace yourself than jogging.. as well, you don't cause quite as much injury to your knees and ankles from your feet hitting the pavement... riding your bike also works the muscles in your calves and thighs..
don't listen to your uncle and keep up with the exercising!

if you like riding your bike then keep riding. Tell your Uncle to shut-up. If you want to include other activites like jogging, hiking, or swimming it doesn't mean you have to stop riding your bike.
