It is my feeling the the governments not listening to the people anymore, we will get the same old spending on special intrest projects and not where it is needed .That inflation will continue to rise ahead of wages and that healthcare will remain on the burner with no progress towards a solution .
The mentaly ill will wonder the streets homeless victums to street savey criminals that deprive them of there government money .The little they may get is taken from them on the third of the month soon after they cash the check at habbebes check cashing service where a huge fee is taken from the mentaly ill .Some times 100 dollars to cash a 750 State treasury check .
We will still have wide spread fraud by businesses go unpunished , polution will continue among corporate poluters till it is out of control and tax payer money from the super fund used to clean up the mess with only small fines to companies that pay 35% returns on investments .If you make the poor clean it up with tax dollars.

Well, everything done in Congress in the last six years has been highly partisan with many major issues being decided by the likes of Mr.Texas Delay Any Justice Jr. The Republicans have talked as if the people were sixty percent behind all the ill conceived actions of the Republican Party, but the fact is that the Republicans have ruled with an iron fist and with a bare majority. The outcome has been dictatorial rule by the Republicans with back handed diplomacy toward the loyal opposition.
The result is iron rule strategy of Bush and Rove is the political battlefield of hacked off heads, ghostly limps and bad government you see around all of us.
Just image what it is going to be like when the Democrats take over. Should we have mercy on the Republicans? Should we give them the same treatment? Their is plenty of hard feels to justify the efficient us of power. But, then, maybe the best thing to do is to think about the American people and the future of the United States. Now there is an rarely used technique in the last six years.
One thing is clear, with no mercy for the opposition that lead us into this nightmare of failure, the Liberals will try and do what is right and best for the Country, but don't confuse the cooperation for anything but the Liberals being the party that can be responsible to the duties of leadership and stewardship.
The War in Iraq, torture in our military prison system, and Constitutional fraud will not be forgotten.

At first there will not be much change because the idiot will still be in office so it will be hard to change the budgets and such from the way they are until 08. I do see some progression coming in the manner of the war and making the Iraqi's get self sufficiant instead of what they have now, and no todays headlines of they take over their own army is not a true sign of progress because the U.S. will still be heading everything. I do see some progression in the environmental area to. Hopefully they will be able to find a way to repeal those tax cuts of Chimpys and get some money coming back into the government. Though until we can get Chimpy out of office in 08 it is gonna be hard to change much.

That's a pretty negative picture you just painted. Luckily, some people still do believe in change and the power of humanity. Go ahead. Sit back and woefully analyze a future strictly determined by a created group; that does not have to be reality. But it could be if this is all the further people start taking their views.

You're right.

But with the troops home the idea is that less money will be being spent on a war and that's more money that could (theoretically) go to domestic affairs. Whether or not that does depends on the president.

Whether or not it'll ever happen.... I'm glad that you'll always be here... online... whining instead of doing anything.

Wow! Things look pretty bleak. Maybe we should just blow our heads off.
Lighten up. Times have been a lot harder in the past, and we pulled thru. Everyone is concerned about the issue you addressed. It takes time for that concern to reah the top. Keep voicing your opinion, but quit presenting it as if the world is coming to an end.

It is not the job of the government to LISTEN to the PEOPLE. It is their job to protect the people and their freedoms. Liberals whine and whine and whine and that is not something that anyone should have to listen to. That most certainly includes you and your rants.
