He's done it again and swerved away from a direct answer. He is more slippery than Saddan Hussein. Why cant he see his time is up? Is it stupidity or is his ego even bigger than I thought. He does not own the Labour Party or Britain. He must go now! What do you think?

Yes, he will go. But now is not the time. Britain is a much safer, wealthier and educated country than nine years ago because fo Tony Blair, life under Gordon Brown will be worse than you beleive it is now.

Tony Blair is one of the best Prime Minister's this country has ever had, this week has shown that the media and back benchers are able to get rid of another leader, in the last 15 years Thatcher, Major, Duncan Smith, Kennedy and soon Blair.

Maybe it's time for a new system, and have a President directly elected by the electorate - obviously that would mean getting rid of the Queen.

Blair's ego is spectacular. Never mind that he is already a lame duck because he cannot be PM for any longer than 12 months, he still believes that specifying an exact date is the thing that will rid him of authority. There is a lovely Greek word for this behaviour: hubris.

Blair will be gone by Christmas...

So, in his place, the tongue-in-front-teeth mumbler Brown.
What a spectacular piece of political suicide by the party that should have learned from it's lessons in the 80's.
Blair knows that with Brown at the helm, Labour will not be re-elected next time, not with the competition of (finally) a charismatic tory leader. Brown has as much charisma as... well the colour to which his name pertains.

Yes i sure agree with you he has done a lot of damage to this country so the sooner he goes the better but who ever takes over has got a lot of work to put this country back on its feet and it will take time i think we need a change of party and a good one at that

I think Tony Blair is a bright courageous man who sees the truth in a country that is now turning in it's badge of courage against Muslim agression. You will miss Blair as you lose your country to religious fanatics.

yes i agree however he is incredible charismatic and very far from stupid if brown takes over he will only last till the end of the labour term so i doubt he will be stepping down any time soon

I think Tony Blair has aged way beyond his years through his job.
He is failed musician, and will pay the price for the corruption he and his advisors have brought upon this country and government.
He knows his number is up have you seen recent photos of him? He looks soooooooo tired.
I liked him at first, but now, good riddance I say.

I think that he wants to be seen as a victim. So, during the next 9 months or so, he will be looking for the sympathy vote. Guess what, I think that we will fall for it.

Will we ever get rid of the Bush family? As far as I know, Blair does not have a brother (Jeb) waiting to seize power.
