It's called democracy! What would you do if the situation were reversed? Iraq was an invasion pure and simple and the government once again put soldiers in harm's way because of the lies they sold the general public. You can honestly tell me if there were invaders in this country you wouldn't fight with everything you had to stop them. Explain to me why we are not kicking a** in Saudi Arabia and then I might begin to understand where you are coming from. We were all screwed so a few rich pigs could get richer.

For one, YOU represent the rest of us in the world. In many cases YOU are the first Americans that many of these people will ever see.
Amazingly, I don't hear people complaining about the majority of great soldiers that do their jobs and sacrifice themselves for this country. The complaints are about the A$$holes that abuse other human beings justifying it as "collateral" to the war effort. Torture and rape are not what America stands for. It's idiots like you that dishonor those that have gone before and given their lives for what IS great about America. Get a shrink moron. You've got issues.

Go ahead and do what you have to, including torcher. All's fair in love and war and if the world did not believe that then there would be less wars. I just hate the war where you fight it with a political
view point. The only purpose in war is to win and then get out. So,
go ahead and do what ya have to. Ex-marine here.

Damn... I'm sorry you feel that way. Your question brings tears to my eyes. I'm just an average citizen myself, and a real woman. I think you guys are doing a damn fine job over there. I am proud of you and the rest of the soldiers that risk your lives to protect our country, our freedom, and our way of life. I am grateful that there are people in this country still willing not just to stand up for what they believe in, but to live, die, and even kill for it. That's how we as a nation got where we are today.
I haven't forgotten why you're there.
Blessings upon you.

Amen! You brave men and women of our armed forces have been trained and are being paid to do a job and that is to defeat and destroy the enemy. "Oh! Those poor people!" &^%$ them! It appears that even they don't want us in Iraq. My God! Let them kill themselves if that's what they want. We are not against our troops at all, well at least I'm not. I'm not sitting at home rooting against you guys far from it. I'm not even against the people that sent you to war. Now that we're in this mess, lets just allow you guys the time to do your job and get the hell out of Dodge. You know what I mean? Stomp out the enemy and do the job to the point were neither one of your kids nor mine will ever have to go back to Iraq and clean up their mess again.

I have a feeling you guys are doing the best you can with what you have to work with. I know that you cannot always distiguish
a fighter from a civilian. I have heard that the equipment you guys have is less than desirable.
and I could guess that, being in the situation, this is a healthy, easy, and safe platform to blow off some steam. Hang in there.
It is not you guys... it is the govenment that put you in that position.

Political correctness is the problem and it's supporters have no idea what war is, people die and people kill period. If people here at home would only realize that their negative comments etc.. have a very negative impact on our troops morale and war is rough enough without having people at home judging soldiers from their armchairs.
I was never in the forces but I do support and understand the work soldiers do.
THANKS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is so easy to sit in your nicely furnished living room in the air conditioning and complain about the state of the world. These days they call it intellectual thought. I still call it Monday Morning Quarterbacking. Old fashioned, I guess.
