Please listen carefully, to use GPRS on your cell phone first of all you gotta have a cell phone with this facility. I am assuming that your A62 is capable of this.
Now what you have to do is first of all be sure that the mobile service provider that you are using faciliates you with GPRS services or not. I assume they are, now you have to call their 'call center' and ask the representative about the activation of GPRS because it varies from one SP to another. The one I am using facilitates me to activate GPRS just with a ring of a call. I called the call center and asked them to activate my GPRS (keep in mind they may charge a fee for the activation) when they will activate your GPRS you will recieve 'GPRS configuration settings' accept them and save them to your cell and now you can enjoy the luxury of GPRS.

Who is your provider? (Cell phone company) I have GPRS settings for pretty much all of them, but i need to know who the provider is, so i can give you the correct info.

I had a problem with GPRS config and called Cingular, that actually had no idea how to send setting to my phone. So i had to find "THEIR" settings and set up my phone myself. Since most of the phones that are sold at stores are LOCKED to a certain provider, that is why they don't know what you want from them. I've had a similiar experience with T-Mobile as well.
