This is going to sound kind of bad, but the people who influenced my career path were people I knew who had graduated degrees in my field of interest and couldn't find any jobs. This really made me second guess my career path and choose something more lucrative.

A professor in College. We had to do a presentaion using a Database program. After I was done and the class was letting out, she called me aside and told me that I will do very well in this field. I stuck with it, have been doing it for 10 years and enjoy what I do.

Only problem is I'd like to move up, but am lacking other educational resources. A 2 year degree alone, does not help you move on.

I would have to say my aunt because she worked with kids since I was little. First I started off as an preschool teacher at a daycare, now I work for Kids In Distress wich is a shelter for children tha has been abused and neglected and I really enjoy my job One day I plan to open up my own Daycare facility.

A woman who I worked with at a youth camp for a few years when I was younger. She ended up being in my life for a long time becoming a family friend. Kari was very influential in shaping my love for children and fun and learning and being creative in all you do. I went on to work with children and camps and choose working with youth as my career path.

My mom -who took me to history museums and historic sites when I was a kid and then bought a really old house, my high school english teacher- who could make history and literature live and breathe, and my grad school advisor - who has real world experience and keeps telling me that I'm good at historic preservation and can make a living at it.

Oprah, her life is a model that sys it all in all career u choose in life.She has combined being Human and business together that have brought so much smile and laughyer to everyone who is opportuned not only to meet her but to view her shows.I have a dream like Martin Luther King did but mine is to meet her one on one and tell her how her work is God sent.God bless her
