an excellent method to remove suntan is to put a mixture of plain yoghurt anr crushed cucumber on ur face for 10mins and wash off.It hepls lighten tan in 2weeks.washing ur face with a pack of bread crumbs soaked in milk is good to,to remove regular tan.both deal with dry skin as well.
Another quick way to remove tan(but test this on a small portion of ur skin first)is to smear the affected area with the juice of a raw potato_it will smell a bit,but u'll see its effect within 2/3 days!

Suntanned Face.
Stay out of sun, time will cure it.
Dry Skin.
Try cold creams/moisturiser. Use mild soap with oil, like name brand "Dove". Slight/gently descaling may help also.
PS
All other answers are good, for pain aloe/lanacane/calamine lotions ............... comes to mind.

You can put aloe on your face to releive pain and dryness but you can't get rid of redness. Only time can help that. Also drink lots of water.

You can't "cure" a sun tan. You can only wait for it to fade.
