Absolutely! But "her name is Kate now, not Katie. She's a woman with a child now..." His words, not mine!
How can he tell a woman to be silent during labour??! It's impossible - trust me! And surely she was dying to take her baby out for a walk after the birth? I think she'll turn around in a few years to come and wonder what the hell she was doing with him.
He's a pyschotic control freak if you ask me!

It's a give/take in a relationship. You have the option to be controlled or not. Maybe Kate doesn't mind it. There are times, you probably don't want to think of what you should do in the future. I mean who wants to go to college, work, find a home, get married, etc. It's a big responsibility. Maybe Kate is doing it so she can relax for once in her life.
Remember, she had given up college so she could do Dawson's Creek. Then in between shows, she did movies. She got engaged and then it was over. Maybe she's tired of Hollywood and all the things you need to do in order to be accepted.
Tom, on the other hand, has done it all. Now, he wants something more solid in his life now. Kate and Suri is it. He has enough money to do what he wants.
They are both actors. So maybe they are tired of pretending and want to just live their life without press and other people bothering them. I mean if you were in their shoes- would you want people to constantly bother you and ask you loads of questions constantly? It must be hard and a headache.
Just think of the other person's feelings and then you might not feel that Tom is controlling Kate.

Tom Cruise went from a hottie to totally no longer. the entire Katie and Tom component became lovable to commence, yet he really has that lady on a short leash. do not get me all started on scientology that's an finished diverse problem. although Tom Cruise is an outstanding actor, he's loony. actually, who leaves Nicole Kidman! Katie's large, yet Nicole is superb!

Hey tom cruise are you out there? maybe you can answer this for the people! Oh yes totally!!!! He is obsessed with her too. That won't last...Katie is going to get sick of him smothering over her every minute of the day!! Does not sound like a healthy relationship...it will fade away..sounds like he is calling the shots. Too much of anything is not good right????? down boy!

Yep he's finally found someone who he can compact into a neat little package around his life. He's got everything he wants now family, beautiful wife who says she will stay at home... but what about her? I dont think she has thought much about what she wants outside Tom Cruise. He hasnt given her the chance to think about it. And how often have we seen this scenario in so many relationships.....

There's definately something rather fishy going on there.
Thought it was odd in the cover picture of Vanity Fair that it should be Tom holding the baby - surely it should have been Katie?

It is 'Celebrity World' they are playing a character. Tom is being the weird crazy insane father type. Kate is being the submissive, says 'in love' type. They are paid to be with each other and have a baby... Give it a few years and they will be broken up!
