What is the secret behind the mysterious life that we actually carry in ourselves as well as the body?

I think your question is having the answer for itself. The secrecy behind the life and being alive is that it is mysterious. We every day try to solve this mystery by some or the other way. And that's how we learn new things every day and wait for another day to move ahead.
When there is something that makes you happy you feel GRREAT about being alive and when it is isn't pleasant... you feel the other way round.
This happiness, sadness, feelings and all other things that we come across daily create a mystery around us and when we are able to get even one clue we feel great about being alive.

Our life purpose is to live a life of love and of light, by finding love in whatever we choose to do, and choosing to love whatever we do. Love is a choice, just as happiness.
Our life purpose is to follow the dreams we have been born with, for therein lies the footprints of our destiny.
That is why it is so crucial to following are dreams no matter how silly or outlandish they might seem at the moment, for therein lies the culmination of all that we have gone through in life and all that we will.
Meanwhile our job is to be prepared for our life's purpose to come to us by living it fully in the moment. So that when it does, we are ready to receive it in full and not be found wanting looking after some small time goal, our life has a special purpose for this creation and our purpose is to find that, and that begins by first believing that we are special, the rest just falls in place.

When we stop thinking about ourselves,and give a thought for others,then that makes life worth living.Whenever we find satisfaction in our deeds our soul came alive and fill the body with hapiness.

There is a life of Bhava or spirit which all of us carry in ourselves, whether we are aware or not.To know it, we must open up to our inner world.this can be done through several ways. One of the ways could be contemplation on the self--layer-wise--from body to mind to spirit.Below the layers of chaos--an absolute harmony prevails.To touch that , and live in that is feeling alive and great.

Everyday, write down reasons why it is great to be alive...even if you don't feel great...at first...eventually this attitude of gratefulness takes over...as for the secret behind the mysterious life...etc...
seek, seek, seek, seek, and you shall find...it's the process...the journey...in seeking, that becomes so fascinating.... our teachers come in many forms.

To be alive feels like everything that you feel... To feel great about living, well... Be good to both yourself and other people, and have a passion. Loving anything makes life totally worth it.

Living is a gift. Many people live souless existences thinking that they need to have money to be happy. They work away in sad little offices until they retire then they sit in theri dingy flats waiting to die.
The reality is that we don't need money to make us happy, we need friends and experiences to enrich our lives. Be a good person and always behave towards others as you would like them to behave towards you.
Think about what you want to do with your life in 1 year, 5 years, 50 years and work to achieve those goals. Never get caught up following others peoples dreams and living out their values.
I love my life because I have great friends and I allow myself to do great things.

it feels awesome! i mean, sometimes it's depressing, but i can't remember the last time i WASN'T alive, so i've nothing to compare this to.
and a lot of people come up to me and say "get a life," so i'm guessing i'm not really all THAT alive

It doesn't matter what you do. What ever accomplishment you succeed in or fail in. The purpose is to find *joy* in it. Whether it's seeking a meaning, you'll find happiness if you find it, the end result is joy!
But to answer your question, you'd appreciate life to its fullest when you've come close to death.
