It means that there is something happening in your life that you are feeling threatened by. Who was the other girl in your dream? Could you be in competition with her over the affections of a boy you both like? If so, you may be worried that fighting over the boy (Jason) is going to wreck your relationship with this girl (chasing and almost getting caught a few times). Maybe the girl represents one of your friends? And you really like her current boyfriend (to the point of lusting over him).

Guilt is a wonderful motivator for nightmares.

LOL I know who Jason Vorhees is!! The guy who plays him actual owns a cornfield maze about 10 mins away from where I live!!! He does a good job and when the make it haunted for Halloween, its kind of feels like you are in a horror movie!

Anyho...LOL! I do not think it means anything! You just had a random thought in your dream about a cult classic character! When I get dreams like that, I just want to watch a Friday The 13th movie! So if I was you, I would either rent own, or if you are lucky enough to own 1 or all of them, watch one and fulfill that craving you have for some classic 80's killing! Or you can keep going on with your life and you might just have another dream about him. Maybe he might get you this time! LMAO j/k I hope this helps a little and made you laugh.

Do not worry, dreams have no real meaning, they are just an indication of how much stress we are under concerning particular issues.

When we are asleep, we travel between various stages of sleep. One of those stages is REM sleep (Dream sleep). We have several episodes of REM sleep per night.

During sleep, the brain metaphorically 'tidies up' the brain; - it sort of files away all of it's experiences from the sensory stimuli which has imposed itself on our sensory systems and consequently our brains during the day.

When we are in REM sleep we can become semi - conscious and we become aware of this tidying up process. This is when we say we are dreaming. As I say, we experience several of these episodes in one night of sleep.

There is a processing system in our left hemisphere, which likes everything to be logical and to follow a linear pattern, so it takes our semi - concsious experiences in these episodes and tries to make sense out of them. (Sometimes failing utterly)

This is why dreams can seem so disjointed, because the tidying up process that you witness at the various points of REM may contain totally different information. This is why, in your dream you can be driving a car one minute and in another setting doing something else the next minute.

In NREM sleep, which are the deeper stages of sleep, it is still possible to occasionally dream, but as we are not as close to consciousness as we are in REM sleep, we tend not to remember these dreams at all.

It has been proven that REM sleep has a 'psychological reapair' function, whereas NREM sleep has a phsyical repair function. Studies of the sleep patterns of people under psychological stress, show that they have more REM sleep, whereas studies of the sleep patterns of people under more physical stress, show they have more NREM sleep.

So dreams don't actually have a deep inner meaning, except perhaps to show that you are under more psychological stress than normal.

Hope this helps.

Maybe you saw a glip of something on TV that stuck in your subconcious....or Halloweens coming up maybe you saw a Jason costume mask or something......Geez...I hate those kind of dreams!!
