I researched and visited Vancouver last year, while considering moving there. While it didn't work out economically, if I could afford it, I'd go in a heartbeat. It's very expensive for a Canadian city, but it has excellent weather by Canadian standards, and is the most physically beautiful city I've ever seen.

Ontario specifically Ottawa. Vancouver/Vancouver Island, BC is nice but expensive. Nova Scotia, PEI or any other eastern provinces are great but work is hard to find.
Stay out of Alberta (especially Calgary) it's full of red necked ignorance plus not alot of intelligence. Yes the economic boom is here but the average Albertan is not smart enough to deal with it wisely. The town is growing faster than city planners are able to handle and instead of correcting things the just have the "oh well we tried" attitude.
Moved here a few years ago, big mistake we are moving on.

Lots of jobs in Alberta, but the major problem that they are having is the limited housing. Please keep that in mind, and make sure you have a place before you move here, because there is way too many people that are homeless and living on the streets. With winter around the corner, you definitly do need a place to stay in.
