Hindsight is a wonderful luxury. Unfortunately the senators you mentioned were working on information they were assured by the White House to be true. You can't blame them if they were lied to. What counts now is what these senators do to correct the situation. if they do nothing then of course they should be fired. But if they are taking pro-active steps to fix the situation then they should be commended for their honesty in admitting they were wrong.

Plus who's to say that the senator's opponent in the election would have done anything differently had they been in the senator's shoes when the vote was being held?

The best way to destroy the country and bring in Socialism is to destroy Capitalism. One way to do that is to lie about the president and 'his' motives. Iraq was a terrorist stronghold run by a terrorist financier. Whom, I would add, used WMD against the Kurds and against Iran. Iraq is quickly becoming a free nation. You know that's the kind that doesn't support terrorists!

Bush accomplishments:
1. No new attacks.
2. Thousands of dead terrorists (in Iraq)
3. Hundreds of dead terrorists leaders.
4. Al Quida leaders on the run
5. An economy that has rebounded from the Democratic ineptness and heavy taxes
6. Jobs for anybody who wants one

And your plan is ... what?
Destroy the economy?
Help the terrorists regain Iraq?

Oh and (you freeking moron) Wellstone died some time back!
Try to get your facts straight before wandering into traffic ranting and raving!

If we got rid of everyone who voted for it it would leave a whole bunch of people in power who have never served in congress. They would have little idea of how to do things and would be brought up and trained by these far left lunatics. We'd be closer to destruction than we have been since the war between the states.

Going to Iraq was NOT a mistake, The USA freed 50,000,000 people the Oppression that was present under hussein's dictatorship. These Senators whose names appear here should be fired and several of them should be brought up on charges of treason and aiding and abetting the enemy, namely the terrorists who want
to destroy the USA and Israel.and the European nations.

Iraq(black lines)... has(black lines)...weapons(black lines)...of(black lines)...mass(black lines)... distruction...

yeah, anyone could make an informed decision based on that intel. Or maybe we should hold the conservatives to account for forcing this illegal war down our throats from the start with this kind of crap.

Isn't Wellstone dead?

2006-09-07 04:09:57 · answer #8 · answered by Schmorgen 6 · 1 1

No. Because their votes were based on the information available at the time, which they were assured and led to believe was the truth.
