The education doctorate degree is specifically designed for educators, educational researchers, and administrators. Speaking from my knowledge base and experience in business
schools, most shoo ls don't want this degree anymore for teaching at four year and above institutions because most are migrating towards business school accreditation. These bodies
no longer find the Ed.D. acceptable. They require a DBA or a Ph.D.in a related field of business.
