you should have asked when you first did it as i have told people on here before if you drop your phone in water there is a chance you can get it working again but you really have to act straight away, and do not try turning it on as it will short the circuits , but you should take out the battery and sim and dry these making sure that the battery terminals hav enot gone black or green cos that would indicate battery damage or corrosion, then wrap the battery in absorbant paper and leave to drt for at least 12 hours take the phone and dry of as much as you can with absorbant paper kitchen roll will do shake the phone to get out water that will be in parts you cannot reach apply gental heat ( use a hairdryer but only on a cool setting and about an inch away from the phone paying attention to wher you put battery over the key pads and the place where you plug in charger as water will be in there and under parts you cannot remove if possible remove the back cover and facia wrap the phone in absorbant paper and leave for at least 12 hours replacing the paper whenever it gets moist i placed my daughters near a fan) do not put in tumble dryer micro wave or use extreemes of heat like radiator or direct sunlight as extreems of heat and cold will kill the circuits. after the drying process but everything back together and you will have to fully charge the battery as the water will have discharged it and try turning it on , i have done this with a number of phones that have gone into swimming pool glass of water and even one in a cup of coffee all worked again but some took 2 days to dry out properly as the screens where still condensated , 1 phone never worked again as it had gone in the sea and salt water corodes all the terminals and kills the cells in the battery and phone. but as i have said this should have been done immidiatly, but there is a glimmer of hope my daughters went in the toilet and she dry it and nothing hapenned so she got a new one and left it in the drawer i came hime 3 weeks later took it out put it on charge fully charged it and it works fine so may be you can still get yours to work good luck

Water damage is the one thing that cannot be repaired. However, if your lucky you might be able to dry it out.
I know one guy who sent it to repair. Repair men said they couldn't repair it and sent it back. Even though they didn't fix it, when it got back it was working again; during the shipment the phone dried.
So try it.

water has the capability to damage batteries, building materials, and wooden matter in the long run. Certain things will be damaged forever for example battery, wooden ceiling etc.
Certain matters can be retfied by draining the water and making it dry by keeping in the sunlight.

No guarantee but you can try your luck. Dry under the sun for a few days. Watch out for rain though.

only way is to take it apart gently as much as you can and spray some electrical cleaner inside... also, you could run it in the tumble dryer with some clothes... (battery out)
